The System requirements for Flash Communication Server MX 1.5 are as follows:

Production Computers:
- Pentium III 500 Mhz processor or better (dual Pentium 4 or faster recommended)
- Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Server (SP6 or later), Red Hat Linux 7.3, 8.0 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0
- 256 MB Available RAM (512 MB Recommended)
- 50 MB of available disk space

Given these specifications, you would need at least a Standard-VPS to get the minimal 256 MB RAM guaranteed that this application requires. To have the recommended 512 MB RAM you would need at least an Expert-VPS.

You would also need to purchase whatever licensing required for the program and have the technical know-how to custom install this application into the VPS.

The Flash Communication server is now called Flash Media Server 2. The system requirements for Flash Media Server 2 are:

- Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition, Linux Red Hat Enterprise Version 3.0, Linux Red Hat Enterprise Version 4.0
- Pentium 4, 3.2GHz (Dual Xeon or higher recommended)
- 1 GB of RAM
- 1 Gigabit Ethernet Card

The Flash Media Server 2 RAM requirements would require at least an Enterprise-VPS.

The ideal solution would be to put either application on a true dedicated server.
