When setting up a new website, and trying to enable FrontPage extensions support and authorization, I receive the following message.

Unable to create/update physical hosting:
Error: The document root of the web server where you are trying to install the server etensions already contains a disk-based web.

So what does that mean, or more to the point, how do I get around reciveing this error message and get the FP exteensions enabled?

Thanks.

FrontPage is complaining that the FrontPage files already exist. This can happen if you uploaded the FrontPage files with FTP when you first set up this site.

To fix this disable FrontPage in your control panel, then delete all files and folders in your web document root. starting with an underscore '_'. Also delete the .htaccess file in your web document root. Once that is completed you can enable FrontPage in the Plesk control panel again.
